July 6 , 10:00 am 12:00 pm

$25 Pay-What-You-Can

Join us for a two-hour program of canoeing and discovering the birds of Dead Creek. Learn tips on how to identify the diverse species of birds found in the Lake Champlain watershed. This is a family-friendly program and welcomes everyone with all levels of experience, and canoeing instruction is provided. Whether you are a seasoned birder or have yet to don a pair of binoculars, enjoy a day of birding and boating at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.

Be sure to bring clothing that can get wet as well as water to stay hydrated. Bring your own pair of binoculars, we will have a couple pairs to pass around, but not enough for everyone. We will provide canoes, paddles and personal flotation devises (PFDs). We also recommend you bring a hat and sunscreen to stay protected from the sun. This program is weather-dependent and we will communicate cancellations the morning of the scheduled outing.
